About Ron Farrell Masonry
59 Years serving Kincardine and area
About Ron
Ron started in the trade as an apprentice with Alf Rackley in 1968. In 1972 he wrote and passed the provincial trade test requirement to become a licensed brick and stone mason, his son Chris has been in the trade for 15 years. Ron has also taken masonry technology courses with the Canadian institute of Masonry.
Our Philosophy
The Golden Trowel Award in 1960 - 1975 for this area was a list of materials, than the mason had to design and build a project using every piece of material . It was than judged on design and workmanship. Today the Golden Trowel consists of a stack of bricks, mortar and a stop watch. Who ever lays the most bricks in a set period of time is the winner. This proves our believe that the older methods are better!
